Creating a PDF for print from iPhoto

How to Get Your Photobook, Calendar, Card. Out of iPhoto for Printing

Follow these steps to create a properly formatted PDF for printing with RapidStudio:

Step 1: Remove Page Numbering

In iPhoto, go to Settings and deselect the option for Page Numbering.

Step 2: Generate the PDF

1. Right-click (or Ctrl-click) in the grey area outside the actual book in iPhoto.
2. Select Print Book As PDF.

After selecting this option, a small window will pop up while your PDF is being generated. Once it’s ready, you’ll have a PDF file with:

• The front and back covers as a single imposed design.
• All inside pages, laid out as they will appear in the final product.

Step 3: Upload to RapidStudio

Visit the RapidStudio website and upload the generated PDF file for printing.

Important Note on Dust Covers

If your design includes a dust cover (a cover with fold-over flaps), ensure you select the dust cover option when requesting your quote on the RapidStudio website. If this option isn’t selected, the cover with flaps will be ignored, and you will receive a standard RapidStudio website
